We follow Groton Public Schools for all delays, cancellations, and early dismissals.  We will make every effort to have this information updated by 6:00 a.m.

Delayed Openings

The option of the two-hour-delayed opening or a no school announcement will be communicated via email, ClassDojo, and social media.  When the two-hour delay is used and if travel conditions fail to improve; it is possible that school may not open.  This message will be communicated in the same manner.  

On delayed openings, transportation will follow normal routes and buses will run two hours later than usual.  School will begin at 10:50 a.m.  Morning Sunshine Club will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Sacred Heart students and families come from a wide geographical area, so use your best judgment when deciding whether to drive your children to school.  Please notify the office if you are unable to make it.

Early Dismissal

When school is dismissed on half-days due to inclement weather the busses will come at 1:00 p.m.  You will be notified through the students emergency contact information that is on file in the school office.

All students must be picked up by 1:00 p.m.

All after-school activities including night basketball will not be held if there is no school or if there is an early dismissal.
